Video has come 360

There's not much I can say, just play.

There have been a few people attempt this so far, Armani is one. But for some better examples that don't involve soul selling, click here.

Obviously I love this and the shear magnitude of opportunities this functionality opens up is so big that... yes... yes, my ears have begun bleeding.

You tube adds another dimension

The moment that we've all been waiting for has arrived!!!
For almost 5 years, visitors to the video sharing website Youtube have had to watch video in 2D. No longer must users suffer this repression, no longer must their vision be so crucially impaired. A new dimension of video sharing has been born.

YES... you can now see your favourite Youtube clips only when wearing a ridiculous set of spectacles on your otherwise unhindered face.
As trends tend to, Youtube has gone the way of many a main stream movie and now allows users to create their own 3D films. Fear not friends, this is not just a tool for the Tim Burtons and Robert Zemekis' of this world, any Tim, Dick or Harry can now try their hand in a third dimension:

Enjoy!

Tiger Woods 2010

Now I'm not sure how to embed an advert in a blog. Yeah yeah, like you know.
But I will give you this link, I strongly advise you click through and stick with it! You can be safe in the knowledge I will not be posting gifs, unless YTMND have anything to do with it.

But for now... swing away.

And don't anyone get on their frikkin high horse, both myself and Hitler (clearly) are massive MJ fans.

A step in the right direction

Over 2000 years in the making, the new iPhone 3GS has been released with its pièce de résistance… The compass!

Ok, so iPhone may not have been the first to invent or even digitise the compass, but with the rate of knots it’s releasing applications it really is the one to watch.
So why all the fuss? Although the new bit of kit may be older than the pyramids, in collaboration with the already existing GPS it means the iPhone now has 100% spatial awareness. Not only can it correctly orientate your maps, but just marvel at what else it can do:

MOOOOOOOOOOON!!

Many a time I have sat at my desk spinning the artificial globe that is Google Earth and wondering, how much fuller my life would be if only I could do this with a moon.
WELL NOW I CAN!!!

Oh yes, those great guys at Google really HAVE gone the extra mile, the extra 238,856.95 miles to be exact. They have team up with the massa heads at Nasa to recreate the moon for Google Earth.

Take the tour with Buzz, it's COSMIC!!!!

Tits and turns!

Got a problem with that?
Unsurprisingly, my first thought was to send this to all my male friends.
Unfortunately, I don't think any of them would be in the market for a new bra, however, if the girls are planning another trip to the Towers, we'll see them there!!!

So... possibly a swing and a miss, but I'm sure we'll all enjoy it none the less.

Augmented Mentality

So you've all been exposed to Augmented reality as if it were the number one Christmas boutique item. So instead of publishing numerous posts, every time something someone jumps on the band wagon, I have cleverly waited for someone to do this:
35 Awesome Augmented Reality Examples

An attractive i-Saw

Wow, it's finally arrived!
All my Christmases have been rolled into 1 awesome hand-held killing machine, run straight from my Mac!!!
USBChainsaw.com

In truth it's another awesome viral idea to stop unnecessary printing.
You can also download a plug-in that plays the sound of a chainsaw whenever you print:
Papercut.com.sg

Some great ideas coming out for anti-printing at the moment, but my heart did drop when I realised I couldn't have my USB chainsaw.

SUN RISE

This billboard harnesses the sun and uses an awning to emphasise it's deadly message.

It's over a year old, but must have slipped through the radar.
Enjoy, it is cool (but not for long)!
